Our Teams
CIO Cathy Bibby
Ms Cathy Bibby was appointed as CIO of EB Services in October 2008 and is responsible
and accountable for the management and operation of EB Services. Cathy previously held
the position of CIO of Jemena and CIO of Alinta responsible for the delivery of all information
technology services. Prior to Alinta, Cathy was the CIO of National Foods, a national Australian
dairy company, for four years and previously worked for Mars Incorporated for 15 years in a
variety of information technology roles across the Asia Pacific region and Europe.
Relationship and Strategy
The Relationship and Strategy group is managed by James Lord. R&S ensure the
delivery of optimal value for current and future IT investments and provide technology
advisory services for major strategic initiatives.
Relationship and Strategy are heavily involved in all major projects and have capabilities
aligned to the best practise architecture framework (TOGAF). They use the Enterprise
Architecture tool SPARX and have capabilities across three architecture domains
of Application, Data and Infrastructure.
Strategic Sourcing and Commercial
Greg Lyne heads the Strategic Sourcing, Commercial and Governance Group. SSC&G
provide support to all EB Services and its customers with regard to procuring hardware,
software and commercial services such as:
- Contract Management and Negotiation
- Risk Management
- Tender Management
- Software Asset Management
- IT Security
Program Management and Delivery
Program Management and Delivery is managed by Mark Welsh and supports the strategic
business objectives of our customers through the delivery of quality projects on
time and on budget.
Program Delivery do this by using a tried and tested industry standard methodology
based on Prince2.
The PMO, part of the Program Management and Delivery team, is the key interface
with other areas within EB Services, and manages the planned program of work using
this methodology.
Applications Support
The Applications Development and Support team, led by Mike Williamson, is responsible
for the future direction and ongoing development and support for all application
technology solutions for the Jemena Group and SP Ausnet.
There are five development teams within Applications Development and Support that
support in excess of 300 different applications of varying technology and size.
These teams also undertake development and enhancements of software, and work closely
with all other areas of EB Services.
Managed Services
The Infrastructure team, led by Glyn Lloyd is responsible for the planning and design,
deployment and operation of Information and Communications Technology supporting
the business operations of EB Services’ customers.
